James Castro-Blanco, Esq.

James Castro-Blanco is Partner in the law firm of Murtagh, Cossu, Venditti & Castro-Blanco LLP. He is a former federal prosecutor, an Assistant Dean and an Adjunct Professor of Law and a Special Master in the Eastern District of New York.  For seven years, Mr. Castro-Blanco was the Chief Deputy County Attorney for Westchester County overseeing a staff of 60 attorneys and served as the Executive Director of Westchester County Human Rights Commission.  He has represented companies and individuals in the entertainment industry and litigated contractual disputes in State and Federal courts.

Mr. Castro-Blanco has been an Independent Director for publicly traded companies managing billions of dollars. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for St. John’s Riverside Hospital, is Past President of the largest Hispanic bar association in the Northeast and was Chair of the Annual Scholarship Fund.
